Cumberbatch Family

This drawing, this family portrait of Wanda Ventham & Timothy Carlton with their baby boy Benedict Cumberbatch, was a present for Benedict.

I met him last Sunday, and I was aware that he knew about my artwork in general, and his comments about my work I received via his friends had helped and strengthened me a lot. I thus wanted to do something in return, but a drawing of just his face.. that'd be useless to him. That is why I decided to draw his parents instead, but when I found the reference picture for this, I was sold.

Benedict was very touched and loved the drawing, which is now in his (or quite possibly his mother's) possession.
